With the superbowl approaching this weekend the question is who will become the hero and who will become the goat. In the past the superbowl has been mired by many blowout and bad games, however, more recently the games have been much closer and actually been great games. In games like this the question always becomes who will emerge as the player that changes the game and makes an impact.

My guess is that this superbowl will impacted heavily by runningback Willie Parker. For most of the season he has been hampered by injuries, but this is the type of game that he will do very well in this game because of the matchup and his history in the superbowl. We forget just a few years ago, Parker broke for a 75 yard touchdown that broke the backs of Seattle in Superbowl 40. Parker scored a touchdown and rushed for 93 yards on 10 carries that day.

Parker is built for this game, as the Arizona Cardinals are a team that can be had on the corners by speed backs. The Cardinals are a persuit defense that can often be caught off gaurd by a change of direction running play. While not overly effective this season, Parker still adds an element of speed that will games the way the Cardinals plan their defensive scheme.
