This post is purely as a fan of the Minnesota Vikings. I have been a fan for over 30 years and never have I been more amazed by the undertakings of the last few weeks. Let me say that we are a better team now than we were yesterday, but this media circus may just be too much for this team to handle. If the Vikings think that this is over they are off their rocker. Farve will play this string out throughout the season. Can you hear the excuses:
My arm hurts
My body is sore
I am too old
The game has passed me by
etc. etc. etc.

I think the distraction will be far more than what this team can handle. The good news is that I think ultimately Childress will lose his job and the team can move on. If the Vikings make the playoffs and the NFC title game, but do not make the superbowl - do you think it is over? Farve signed a 2 year 12 million deal....I will assure you that the saga will rinse repeat at the end of the year. In the mean time stay tune to....As Farve Turns.
