1950 Rookie Football Cards

As the NFL began to take its roots the stars of the 1950's and 1940's are the true innovators of the game.  Prior to Slinging Sammy Baugh, the forward pass was a fairly novel concept in the NFL.  After Baugh, the forward pass became a weapon used by every team in the NFL.

The rookie class of the 1950's includes some of the truely legendary names of the NFL.  "Crazy Legs" Elroy Hirsch is featured in this set of football cards.  Hirsch is seen sporting the classic Maize and Blue of Michigan.  The other icon of the 1950 rookie football class is none other than Otto Graham.  Graham to this day is still one of the most successful quarterbacks in the history of the game.  These cards are the perfect item for the NFL history buff.  Rare gems that are part of every true NFL card collectors set.
