<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #4b4b4b; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;; mso-fareast-font-family: 'MS Mincho'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: JA; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">When I started collecting football cards the only way to get an autograph of a football player was to get teh actual signature of the player on your card.  This was either done at the football games themselves or at card shows.  As a collector their was always a risk that the card got damaged during the signature process.  This was not a problem if you collected the card because it was cool, but if you were holding it long term for investment or wanted it to be in great shape this was always a risk.  The development of authentic DNA autograph and jersey cards have made it much easier as a collector to verify that collecting football cards with autographs can be easily verified. This gives the collector a guarentee that the autograph is real and really adds to the quality of the <a href="http://www.rookiefootballcardshop.com">rookie football card</a>.</span></p>
