How to Price Football Cards: Part II
How to price football cards: part II
This is the second post in a series that discusses in detail how to price football cards that are not graded by one of the premeir card grading services like SGC and PSA.
In my first post I discussed how to used the advanced search feature of EBAY to learn what the market will pay for your non-graded rookie football cards. The next step to determining the price of your card is to do a little more advanced seraching on EBAY. Now we will use a free research tool named Terapeak to get more information about the history of the prices people pay for the cards you are trying to determine the price of.
Go to Terapeak website and click on the price report tab and enter the name of the card you are trying to evaluate. Click on the keywords section and enter the name of the card you are trying to evaluate like Joe Montana rookie. Terapeak then will display a report of all the cards sold in the last 7 days. It will display the high, low and average price and from this you will be able to ballpark your card's value.
In my next post we will discuss how to examine the features of your card and narrow in the price of your card.
